HULYA

Hülya was working as an urban planner in Istanbul, Turkey before she gave birth to her beautiful daughter 6 years ago. However, after an unfortunate event which resulted in the loss of her father in 2014, Hülya felt the need for a creative outlet that would help her get through this loss.

As a result, Hülya borrowed her mother’s sewing machine and worked tirelessly to how to develop patterns so that she could create her own beautiful handmade dolls.

This resulted in her doll collection at Foxy Beginnings, comprised of stunning pieces with patterns and designs that are fully developed by Hülya.

Working from her small home studio in Istanbul, Hülya’s dolls are lovingly hand-made from 100% natural materials including: quality cotton fabric, waldorf skin fabric, wool felt and wool yarn for quality and durability.

NARGES

Narges is an artist living in Tehran, Iran, whose love and talent for art and painting started blossoming at the young age of 7. Narges nurtured this newfound talent by designing dresses and clothing for dolls throughout her childhood.

However, rather than pursue this passion full time, Narges decided to complete a degree in Business and Management. It was not until after she fulfilled an order to produce accessories and props for a photography studio that Narges realized that her destiny lay in doll making.

Now a full time mum and doll maker, Narges has partnered up with Foxy Beginnings so that she might be able to introduce her beautiful hand-made work to families around the world.
